Hi! This is Wonderblade, a small personal project I created entirely from scratch to improve my modeling, texturing, and UI design skills.
The idea was simple: take a fun concept a sword made out of cardboard and imagination — and use it as a way to explore both 3D and UI workflows.
I started by modeling the sword in Blender, focusing on clean, simple geometry suitable for stylized games. The goal was to keep it light, but visually interesting.
Then, I textured it to look handmade — like a kid crafted it with tape, markers, and cardboard. That helped me work on hand-painted techniques and stylized texture storytelling.
To complete the project, I designed a set of UI mockups in Figma, showing how the sword's abilities — like “Wonder Slash” — could be displayed in a game. This gave me a chance to refine my layout, icon design, and clarity in presenting game information.
